Jacob Michael Bobko, 15, of Northampton, died suddenly Jan. 14, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
He was the son of Samuel M. Bobko and Janet A. Bobko.
He was a sophomore at Bethlehem Catholic HS.
He was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church, Northampton, where he was an altar server and attended Sunday school.
He had a compassionate heart and was a kind, caring young man. During the warmer months Jacob could be found catching fish down by the creek or riding his bike endlessly around town. He had a knack for building things and his quick mind allowed him to easily solve any problem. Jacob loved Stars Wars, playing Xbox with his friends, weightlifting, building Lego sets, fishing, and spending time with his pets. On the weekends, Jacob would cheer on the Eagles and Penn State football teams whenever they played. He had a great sense of humor and a silly side to him that brought joy to those around him.
He participated in many sports, such as football, wrestling, and basketball through the Northampton Athletic Association.
He touched the lives of many and developed friendships that lasted all through his years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Brianna L. Bobko; paternal grandparents, Richard and Debra Stock of Coopersburg; maternal grandparents, Rowland and Sandra Wallitsch of New Tripoli; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
