The Freedom Patriot swimmers hosted neighbor Moravian Academy in an out-of-conference meet on Jan. 11 when the Patriot girls won, 114-58, and the Lion boys won, 88-83.
In girls events, Alexia Ragab, Alivia Deemer, Sofia Nabyt, and Laney Stewart (F) won the 200 medley relay in 2:07.64.
Charlene Liu (MA) was first in the 200 free in 2:25.52, Ragab was the 200 IM winner in 2:34.50, Deemer took first in the 50 free in 28.13, Nabyt won the 100 butterfly in 1:12.60, Abby Wagner (MA) was first in the 100 free in 1:04.89, and Emily Murgia (MA) won the 500 free in 6:46.08.
Nabyt, Margaret Marshaleck, Chloe Levin, and Kaylee Buglino swam to a first place finish in the 200 free relay in 2:02.94.
Ragab won the 100 backstroke in 1:11.69, and Deemer earned her district cut in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:12.77.
Stewart, Paige Anderson, Ragab, and Deemer won the 400 free relay in 4:17.81.
In boys events, Sebastian Malaver, Oliver Ritchey, Jack DeLuca, and Aidan Rodrigues (MA) were first in the 200 medley relay in 1:52.87.
Malaver went on to win the 200 free in 2:06.36 and the 500 free in 5:52.62, Rodrigues took first in the 200 IM in 2:12.87 and the 100 fly in 59.13, and Ritchey sprinted to first in the 50 free in 23.78 and the 100 free in 53.22.
AJ Black, Matthew Gould, Giovanni Camaione, and Micah Lawser (F) won the 200 free relay in 1:42.93.
Asa Lawser (F) took first place in the 100 backstroke in 1:12.61, and Black won the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.50.
In the last event of the meet, Malaver, DeLuca, Ritchey, and Rodrigues won the 400 free relay for the Lions in 3:41.58.
