Michael C. Bachman, 42, of Saylorsburg, died Jan. 8, 2024, with his mother and sister by his side at St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of John Bachman and Linda (Hower) Bachman.
He attended high school in Kutztown, and was employed by A-1 Electric from 2000-06.
He then worked with his longtime friend at James Gray Flooring until 2008.
Most recently he worked for his father at John Bachman HVAC from 2009-19.
He loved riding, climbing, jumping and racing with his dirt bikes, tuff trucks and side by side.
Inclined with a “no fear” attitude, he never failed to impress the many cherished friends he met along the way.
An avid mechanic, he could figure out how to fix or rebuild anything.
His kind spirit made him the first to jump at the opportunity to help anyone in need.
He loved teaching and sharing his knowledge with anyone who would listen.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother Kathleen Bachman; sister Michele with her husband, Mark Janotka; half-sisters Kathleen and Julia Bachman; and nieces Madison and Morgan Janotka.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Jan. 18 in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
His family will receive guests beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
Those in attendance are invited to a luncheon at Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1, 851 Second St., Whitehall, following his service.
