The Goodwill Industries and Donation Center, 4634 Broadway, South Whitehall, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 5 to highlight recent renovations.
The sales floor has been modified to present a more efficient shopping experience for visitors and the facility has an employee break room for the first time since it opened.
The most significant renovation was to the donation center drop off at the rear of the building.
There is now a covered portico allowing for donation drop-offs and a better sorting and prep space for the employees.
According to the store manager, Kim Parry, the store accommodates more than 2,000 shoppers per week.
There are 20 full-time and 12 part-time employees at the Tilghman Street store.
