CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS Members of the Catasauqua Middle School team are happy to take part in the Girls on the Run 5-K, held Dec. 3, 2023, at DeSales University. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit, after-school running program focused on empowering young girls.

CMS students and faculty members celebrate after the event. According to its website, “Girls on the Run inspires participants of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths while building a sense of connection in a team setting.”
