Douglas H. Rowland, 82, of Whitehall, died Jan. 7, 2024, at Arden Court in Allentown. He was the companion of Judy Paine.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late John D. and Wanda (Nachisty) Rowland.
He worked for 34 years as a cutter for the former Cross Country Clothes. He then worked for Aldridge Chemical, Northampton, for 11 years, before retiring.
He was a member of Catty Seniors Plus.
In addition to his companion, he is survived by two daughters, Susan Sell and husband Ronald and Terri Greaser and husband Jason; a son, Michael Rowland and wife Kristine; a brother, John P. Rowland and wife Kathy; a sister, Dolores Billera and husband Joseph; six grandchildren, Lindsey and husband Cole Neff, Jacob Sell, Andrew and Emily Rowland, Kyra and Logan Greaser; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Catasauqua.
