Catty Seniors Plus will be having its first meeting of the new year Jan. 24 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. Doors open noon, and the meeting will begin 1 p.m.

There will be a speaker, followed by coffee and dessert, and bingo will be played. If anyone would like to bake, the club would appreciate it.

Dues are requested this month.

Note: If there is a two-hour school delay, there will be a meeting.; if school is canceled, no meeting will be held.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is sponsoring a Jan. 27 meatloaf dinner. Seatings are set for 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The menu includes meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, roll with butter and dessert bar.

Tickets must be reserved by Jan. 21. The cost is by donation, and proceeds will benefit Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering.
