Douglas H. Rowland, 82, of Whitehall, died January 7, 2024, at Arden Court, Allentown.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the lae John D. and Wanda (Nachisty) Rowland.
He was a cutter for the former Cross Country Clothes for 34 years. He then worked for Aldridge Chemical, Northampton, for 11 years until he retired.
He was a member of the Catasauqua Senior Club. He was an avid model train and locomotive enthusiast. He had a putz (train layout) in his home.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Sell and husband Ronald and Terri Greaser and husband Jason; a son, Michael and his wife Kristine; companion, Judy Paine; a brother, John P. Rowland and wife Kathy; a sister, Dolores Billera and husband Joseph; six grandchildren, Lindsey and husband Cole Neff, Jacob Sell, Andrew and Emily Rowland and Kyra and Logan Greaser; nieces; and nephews.
