Logan Gilbert, 16, of Breinigsville, who attends Lehigh Valley Charter HS for the Arts, has advanced to the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program as a semifinalist. This achievement places Gilbert among the 1 percent of high school seniors in the United States who have earned this prestigious distinction. Finalists will be announced in February 2024. Gilbert is an instrumental music major at Charter Arts and is a member of the school’s Touring Choir and Treble Choir. Gilbert hopes to attend Princeton University to study physics and math with a minor in music.
