Marion M. Hermany, 86, of Blandon, formerly of New Tripoli and Kutztown, died Jan. 6, 2024, in Keystone Villa, Blandon.

Born in Albany Township, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Anson J. and Virgie M. (Kuhn) Schroeder.

A 1954 graduate and salutatorian of Kutztown High School, she later worked as a clerk for ACME Markets, Kutztown, for 25 years until retiring in 1997.

She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton.

Her survivors include daughters Dr. Debra K. Hermany of Kutztown and Susan L. (Dwayne) Scheidt of Fleetwood; sons Steven D. (Lisa) Hermany of Benton, Regan S. Hermany of Kutztown, and Ronald N. Hermany of Fleetwood; grandchildren Amiee, Nicole, Courtney, Kyle and Conner; great-grandchildren Kieran, Jaxon, Ryan, Lucas, Madison, Ava and Kendalyn.

She was predeceased by her half-brother Lawrence G. Rabert and longtime companion of 43 years, Joseph D. Feinour.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 11 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, with a calling hour at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate.

Interment will follow the funeral service in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.
