Albert F. Krautsack, 85, of Whitehall, died Jan. 4, 2024, at home. He was the husband of Geraldine M. (Failer) for 64 years.
Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late William R. and Arlene (Schaffer) Krautsack.
He attended Whitehall High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy as an active duty yeoman third class and post office administrator aboard the USS Harlan R. Dickson Destroyer, Newport, R.I.
He was a tractor-trailer driver for 46 years for Lehigh Valley Dairy. After retiring, he was a CDL tractor-trailer driver instructor at Northampton Community College.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 463 Dairy Union. He was an Eagle Scout and earned the Order of the Arrow.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Mark and wife Patty Petrilla and Alan and wife Cassandra; a daughter, Dulci; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elaine.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Billy and Larry.
