A Delaware woman died of injuries suffered in a three vehicle crash along Interstate 78, Salisbury Township, Nov. 26, 2023, nearly a week after the accident.

Camille Couzens, 87, of Wilmington, was pronounced dead 5:45 p.m. Dec. 1, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to a news release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensics Center dated Dec. 2, 2023.

Officials found the cause of death to be multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle collision. The manner of death was determined to be an accident, according to authorities.

Couzens was described as a passenger in a car struck by the other vehicles.

According to a new release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the crash happened near mile marker 59.2 westbound at approximately 8:10 p.m. Nov. 26, 2003.

Three other people were described as sustaining minor injuries in the crash.

Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps and Cetronia Ambulance Corps also responded.
