The Emmaus rifle team beat Salisbury last week in a Northeast Pennsylvania Rifle League dual meet.

The Hornets scored 500 (45x) to cruise past the Falcons, 467 (15x).

Emmaus had five shooters score 100, with Shannon Yard leading the way with an 100 (10x) . Quinn Peck, Zachary Brenner and Bryce Dunn each shot 100 (9x), while Madison Carreiro scored a 100 (8x).

Salisbury was led by Nathan Staack’s 97 (5x).

The win improved the Hornets to 4-0 heading into the holiday break.

The Hornets return to action after the holiday break with matches against Kutztown (Jan. 4), at Freedom (Jan. 9) and against Southern Lehigh (Jan. 11).
