Lois A. Komnath, 82, of Macungie, died Dec. 11, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of William S. Komnath Sr. for 57 years. Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Kanyuck) and George Jacob.

She was a 1958 graduate of Nanticoke High School.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie and a former member of the former St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church, Nanticoke, where she served as choir director.

She was employed as a keypuncher at Susquehanna Coal Company for eight years and then as an electronic assembler at ATC for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband; sons, William Jr. and his wife, Jennie, of Allentown, David and his wife, Laura, of Hardyston, N.J.; grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla, Joshua, Natalie; brother, Dan; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Emil, Emma, George, John, Elinor.
