Leo W.H. Schweitzer, 87, of Northampton, died Dec. 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, inpatient hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Shirley V. (Muth) for 66 years.

Born in Kreidersville, he was a son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Snyder) Schweitzer.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a molder for the former Dieter’s Foundry for many years.

He was a lifetime member of the Allen Township Fire Company. He was a member of the Independent Order Foresters and Slatington Seniors.

He is survived by a daughter, Veronica P. and companion Bradley Fogel of Emmaus; three grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett and Gabriel; and two great-grandchildren, Cora and Emma.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Roxane Schneck; and two siblings, Leonard and Pearl.
