Esther L. (Lauser) Mauser, 93, of Northampton, died Dec. 20, 2023, at Sacred Heart Senior Living. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Mauser and companion of the late Paul M. Pastier.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of Andrew and Mary (Bogach) Lauser.

Earlier in life, she was part-owner of the Meyersville Hotel. Later, she worked for Western Electric, Allentown, and Cross Country Clothes in Egypt and Northampton.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.

She was a member of the Coplay Seniors group.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Gerencser with Rudy Schlener, with whom she resided; a granddaughter, Taylor Stefanyak and husband Chad of Whitehall; two grandsons, Ian Gerencser and wife Dana of Allentown and Nolan Gerencser and wife Veronica of Bethlehem; eight great-grandchildren, Reed, Jack and Cade Stefanyak, Emerson and Asher Gerencser and Rowan Esther, Lexington and Remi Gerencser; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Anna Haas, Mary Simock, Catherine Klapko, Helen Marcincin and Tessie Snyder; and a brother, Paul Lauser Sr.

There will be a viewing 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Dec. 28 at the church, 4102 S. Church St., Whitehall, 18052.
