Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

DEC. 11

A traffic violation took place in the 200 block of North 14th Street. A verbal warning was issued.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a license plate was reported stolen.

At Second and Bridge streets, a dog was found. It was later reunited with its owner.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A member of the department assisted Phillipsburg police at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

DEC. 12

Traffic violations took place on Second Street, with the driver cited, and on Lehigh Street, with a warning issued.

Thefts occurred the 400 block of Second Street, with a wallet stolen, and in the 700 block of Fourth Street, with jewelry stolen.

In the 700 block of Walnut Street, a reportable motor vehicle accident involved one vehicle.

Suspicious activity in the 800 block of Mulberry Street had police on the scene.

A hit and run that occurred in the unit block of Second Street is under investigation. Charges are pending, the department said.

A vehicle was ticketed for a parking violation in the 200 block of Wood Street.

DEC. 13

A vehicle was ticketed for a parking violation in the 200 block of Second Street.

Police provided a courtesy transport at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Sixth Street, North Catasauqua.

DEC. 14

Police conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Fourth Street.

Traffic violations occurred at Front and Pine streets, with a warning issued; on Lehigh Street, with a warning issued; and at Front and Bridge streets.

In the unit block of North 12th Street, a domestic disturbance was investigated. No arrests were made.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Howertown Road and the 1400 block of Main Street, both in North Catasauqua.

DEC. 15

Traffic violations occurred in the 200 block of North 14th Street, with the driver cited and vehicle towed; on Lehigh Street, with a warning issued; at Front and Pine streets, with warnings issued; and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

A parking complaint in the 600 block of Front Street was addressed. The vehicle was ticketed.

At Race and Walker streets, a reportable motor vehicle accident had police at the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Bridge and Front streets.

DEC. 16

In the 400 block of Front Street, a domestic disturbance occurred.

Two parking complaints were addressed at Bridge and Limestone streets.

A hit and run took place in the 200 block of Race Street.

Police conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Covington Place.

DEC. 17

A hit and run occurred at Second and School streets.

Officers responded to a noise complaint at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.
