Santa Claus took a break from his Christmas preparations at the North Pole and flew in to Hanover (Norco) Township to visit children at two breakfasts with Santa Dec. 9 at the township’s Community Center. Dozens of kids and their families at each breakfast enjoyed breakfast and an individual visit with Santa to put in their last minute requests and assure him that they have been good. The event was coordinated by the township’s recreation department.
To the back drop of “Ho Ho Ho” by Santa, breakfast was served and included scrambled eggs and bacon, bagels, hash browns, orange juice, and coffee and tea for the adults. The eggs and bacon were donated by Fiamma Italian Grill and the bagels provided by 3 Men and a Bagel.
Each child received a small gift from Santa.
