Police arrested Diosdado Melendez, 50, of Allentown, following the investigation of a Nov. 15 assault at Wind Creek Casino.

Officers responded to a reported stabbing in the car park around 3:35 p.m., discovering a man with multiple wounds, including a puncture in the leg that required a tourniquet to stanch the bleeding. Witnesses directed officers to a silver van they had seen leaving the area.

Surveillance video, blood in the van, and further witness statements implicated Melendez, who is charged with possessing instruments of crime, reckless endangerment, and simple and aggravated assault. He was remanded to Northampton County Prison.
