Maximillion “Max” Kerstner, 21, of Emmaus, died Dec. 16, 2023. Born in Warwick, N.Y., he was a son of Mark C. Kerstner and Kathleen L. Nelsen-Lefferts.

He graduated from Quakertown High School in 2021. He worked recently for 1-800-GOT-JUNK and previously in other home maintenance positions.

He loved to be outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing with friends, urban exploring, photography and skiing.

He is survived by his father and mother; stepfather, Jonathan Lefferts; sister, Faith Kerstner; stepsiblings, Victoria, Brittnay Lefferts; nephew, Noah Welhaf; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Dec. 22 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
