Family: Dad, Mom, older brother and younger sister
Favorite subject: My favorite subject is English. I enjoy reading various types of literature as well as understanding the power and meaning behind pieces of work.
Activities: At school, I’m a co-founder of the FHS Readers club, a member of the Students Against Destructive Decisions Club (S.A.D.D.), and a member of the National Honor Society.
Next steps: After high school, I plan to attend a four-year university majoring in psychology.
Career goals: I plan to work in some sort of law or business related position; possibly pursuing an MBA.
Heroes: My heroes are each one of my family members. They’ve all supported me throughout my academic career and have always provided me with everything I need. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their consistent love and support.
Hobbies: I enjoy traveling, hiking and reading.
Current job(s): I currently work as an E-Commerce employee at a grocery store.
Volunteer/community work: I’ve volunteered as a camp counselor for an educational children’s summer camp, assisting and teaching children of many ages and interests (150+ hours).
Likes: I like rainy days, coffee and cats.
Dislikes: I’m not a fan of humid weather.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment so far is receiving a Top Scholar Award in AP Government and Politics. This class is one of my favorite classes that I’ve taken, and receiving recognition for my effort felt very rewarding.
Advice for peers: My advice for my peers would be to never lose sight of your aspirations and goals. Ignore individuals who attempt to drag you down; focus solely on what you want to make of yourself. In the end, your consistency and perseverance will reveal itself.
