Timothy “Tim” Shirley of Yardley, 64, died Nov. 26, 2023.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Born Dec. 5, 1958, he married his high school sweetheart, best friend, and first love, Ceil, and together they shared 35 wonderful years of marriage and two children.
He dedicated his life to loving and supporting his family.
His children remember him as the most patient, kind, and hardworking father, who supported and loved them unconditionally.
He had a passion for working with his hands and had a knack for repairing just about anything.
Finding pleasure in nurturing his vegetable gardens, he canned pickles and baked delicious apple cakes.
Retiring in 2020 after a 32-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, he spent his final years enjoying the great outdoors and was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand or his granddaughter on his lap.
In addition to his mother, Carol, and wife, he is survived by a brother Michael (Roberta); children Alyssa (Brian) and Tyler; and granddaughter Sloane.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas, and sister Corinne.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
