Linda L. Gottschall, 82, of Wayne Township, Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 8, 2023. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Gottschall Sr. for 45 years. Born in Paradise, Pine Grove Township, she was a daughter of the late Karl K. and Iva A. Heinbach Krammes. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Joseph J. and Angela Klitsch Gottschall.

She was a 1958 graduate of Pine Grove High School.

She was affiliated with the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren in Pine Grove and then joined St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, later in life.

Before marriage, she worked for several years at Argo Knitting Mills, Schuylkill Haven. After marriage, she and her husband moved to Emmaus where they lived for more than 30 years working and raising a family.

While living in Emmaus, she was a homemaker and school cafeteria worker at the high school and junior high school. She worked for several years in the mailroom and customer service at Rodale Press Inc., Emmaus. She and her husband moved to Schuylkill County in 1996.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She was a member of the Tremont Senior Citizens and loved attending the Friday night jams at the Pine Grove Lions.

She is survived by sons, Gregory and his wife, Dawn, of Wescosville, Joseph Jr. and his wife, Sheila, of Emmaus; daughter, Holly Gattone, of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Cody Gattone, Megan, Delaney, Mason, Molly; sister, Jane Spink, of Auburn; nieces and nephews; companion, Dale Krause, of Rock. She was predeceased by a sister, Sue Hesser; brother, Joseph Krammes.
