Edward Joseph Sabo, 78, of East Allen Township, died Dec. 5, 2023, in his daughter’s home. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Engler) Sabo for 52 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Kuti) Sabo.

He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He was a mailroom clerk at Bethlehem Steel for more than 30 years and then worked part-time for Wawa for many more years.

He is survived by a son, Eric and wife Liz; a daughter, Lisa and her husband David Tauber; four grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Hannah and Jacalynn; a brother, John and his wife Barbara; nieces; and nephews.
