Bethlehem Catholic’s girls basketball team will include a strong senior core for the 2023-2024 season under former Becahi assistant and new head coach Arnold Alleyne.
Key returners for the Golden Hawks will be senior guard Cici Hernandez, senior guard Ella Bincarosky, and senior center Akasha Santos.
“Cici will be an integral part of our team. Her floor leadership, 3-point shooting, plus her experience as a three-year starter and All-EPC player will be important as the team embarks on the upcoming season,” Coach Alleyne said. “Ella is an excellent 3-point shooter who brings experience as a returning starter and will be an important part of a solid backcourt, which will be a strength for our team. Akasha brings an interior presence to our lineup. Her rebounding, energy, solid defense, and the experience of a three-year starter will be important to the team’s success.”
Senior Mirynet Colon, and juniors Mekhyla Britt and Daviana Jones are also key returners for the Hawks.
“We will be a strong, competitive team this year due to our strong senior leadership and team chemistry,” Coach Alleyne said.
Alleyne will be assisted by varsity head assistant Dwight Repsher, junior varsity head coach Calvin Arrick, and junior high head coach Morgan Orloski.
Cici Hernandez will be a key returning player for the Bethlehem Catholic girls basketball team.
