Theresa “Tessie” M. Meixner, 95, of Coplay, died Nov. 25, 2023. She was the wife of the late Alfred “Skeeter” F. Meixner Sr.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Spanitz) Stangl.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and of the church’s Rosary Society.

She is survived by a son, Larry and wife Mary of Coopersburg; two granddaughters, Janice Clawson with John and Kristen; a grandson, Robert Moyer Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a son, Alfred F. Jr.; two brothers, John and Frank Stangl; and three sisters, Stella Weinhofer, Rose Tanzos and Betty Klement.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay, 18037.

Contributions can be made to the church.
