Northampton Area Public Library is continuing its winter book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 and 9.

Northampton Fire Department will hold its annual Santa Run starting noon Dec. 9.

Parents who would like their child to receive a gift from Santa should bring the gift to the station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive, 6-9 p.m. Dec. 6-8.

The gift should be wrapped and no bigger than a shoe box. The child’s name and address and the parent’s phone number should be clearly marked on the gift. The address must be within borough limits.

Santa will arrive on a firetruck on the day of the event.

Those who ordered nut rolls from Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church can pick up their purchases 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 9 at the church, 1301 Newport Ave.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Dec. 13 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. The doors open 11 a.m.

Christmas ticket holders are the only attendees for this meeting. No tickets will be sold at the door. Bring your ticket to show upon entrance to the Christmas party.

All attendees are asked to bring their favorite cookie or cookies.
