Marian C. Sweigart, 95, died Nov. 8, 2023, peacefully in her home that she shared with her daughter. She was the wife of the late Lloyd G. Sweigart Sr., who died in 1994. Born in New Smithville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Fries) Derr.

She was employed at the former PET Frozen Foods, Allentown, for several years, retiring in 1986.

She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Trexlertown.

She loved being a mom and a mammy.

She is survived by children, Joann C. Gross (Allen), Ronald “Butch” L., Lloyd “Bubber” Jr., Lori C. Shade (Dennis); nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
