Holiday season begins!

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., for the borough's Christmas tree-lighting ceremony Dec. 3 to an abundance of fanfare and cellphone photos from those eager to meet the jolly guy in red.
The Catasauqua Community Choir fills the air with holiday songs to usher in the holiday season. Despite the light rain, the ceremony went on due to the fullness of schedules and difficulty rescheduling events this time of year.
