Christine C. Yost, 88, of Northampton, died Nov. 30, 2023, at Renaissance Home, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Yost Sr.

She grew up in Petersville and was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Jennie (Miller) Koch.

She earned a cosmetology certification from Allentown Beauty School.

She was a hairdresser for more than 40 years. She owned Christine Yost Beauty Salon, Catasauqua.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Catasauqua.

She was a member of and two-year president of the Lehigh Valley Hairdresser Association. She was active with the former Coplay Seniors and of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by four sons, Frank Jr., Steven and wife Kathleen, John and Edward; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Paul, Grant, Jay and Samuel; and a sister, Joyce.
