• Holiday shoppe, 4-8 p.m., at the Biery House, 8 Race St., Catasauqua. The event will continue 4-8 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 17.

• Toys For Tots collection, 6-8 p.m., at the Coplay Sports field house, Sixth and Maple streets. The collection will continue 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 19.

• Trolley ride (organized by North Catasauqua Betterment Committee), 6-9 p.m., at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St. The trolley will ride around local neighborhoods to view holiday lights, fits about 15 people per ride and is first come, first served. Bring a nonperishable food donation for the local food bank.

• Uncle Smiley Band concert, 7 p.m., at Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road. Members attend for free, but there is a cost for guests and nonmembers.

DEC. 9

• Breakfast with Santa, 9-11 a.m., at Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Bring a donation for Toys for Tots.

• Basket raffle, cookie/dessert sale and indoor yard sale (fundraiser for church and a 3-year-old who has cancer), 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville
