Salisbury Elementary School will hold its annual Holiday Shop Dec. 4-7. There is a scheduled time for each class to attend and make purchases. If you would like to shop with your student, there is a family shopping time 5-8 p.m. Dec. 6 followed by a showing of the movie Frozen.
The PTO is always in need of volunteers to help the children shop and wrap the gifts they buy. Please consider signing up on SignUp Genius to volunteer during your student’s shopping time or anytime at all.
The Salisbury School Board has a lot going on Dec. 6. The meeting starts 7 p.m. with the reorganization meeting. Next, is the operations committee meeting 7:15 p.m., followed by the finance committee meeting 8:15 p.m. Last, is the school board meeting 8:45 p.m.
The Salisbury High School winter concert will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 30.
The next winter concert of the season will be the middle school performance 7 p.m. Dec. 7.
The performances at SES will be split by grade level. Dec. 14 will have kindergarten perform 9:15 a.m. and first grade 10:15 a.m. Dec. 15 will have second grade perform 9:15 a.m. and third and fourth grades 10:15 a.m.
Looking for a winter light display right in our own backyard? The Lights in the Parkway is now open through Dec. 31 (closed Christmas Day). The drive-thru light display in the Lehigh Parkway is for the whole family.
Looking far ahead, graduation for the Salisbury High School Class of 2024 will be June 2, 2024.
Reminder: Leaf collection is underway in the township and will continue through the beginning of December. Please place your leaves (no branches) along the side of the road to make it easier to vacuum. Check the Salisbury Township website to see where the crews will be working each week.
The Salisbury yard waste drop-off sites are now closed until spring.
