Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. The shelter is working to end pet overpopulation by running a clinic so animals can be spayed or neutered before they go home. For more information, call 610-252-7722 or visit

Two-year-old Deano is an American Bulldog / Boxer mix who had a pretty rough life before arriving at the shelter. He spent his days tied outside, not knowing when his next meal would arrive. Despite everything he's been through, Deano is a sweet, well-behaved boy who loves people and playing fetch. He also loves to run and has lots of energy, so he would do best in an active home with older children.
One-year-old Nugget is an energetic boy who loves attention! He is an absolute cuddle bug who demands pets and affection from just about everyone he meets. When he's not on the hunt for attention, he enjoys playing with toys, wrestling with some of his kitty friends or lounging in the warmth of the sun. Nugget would love to find a forever family to dote on him and show him lots of affection.
