Mary A. Kadas, 89, formerly of Emmaus, died Nov. 15, 2023. She was the wife of the late Paul L. Kadas who died in 1986. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen A. and Julia M. (Yurasits) Gerencser.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Read and her husband, Rob; sons, Michael and his wife, Sandra, Douglas and his wife, Gail, David and his wife, Tina; brother, Daniel Gerencser; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special friend and companion, Elwood Wagner. She was predeceased by sisters, Theresa Urban, Elizabeth Wolbach, Gertrude Walbert.

Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
