Edward F. Cesanek, 84, Northampton, died Nov. 25, 2023, at Easton Nursing and Rehabilitation, Palmer Township. He was the husband of Carol (Becker) Cesanek for 59 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Andrew and Susanna (Kacsur) Cesanek.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a pipe fitter at Western Electric for more than 30 years. He was a farmer on the family farm for most of his life.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dr. Joseph and wife Brenda and Christopher and wife Shirley; a daughter, Jennifer and husband Daniel Ziegler; seven grandchildren, Kelsie, Andrew, Katie, Amelia, Emma, Danielle and Justin; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew and wife Nancy; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy, Dolores and Irene.

There will be a calling hour 8:45-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Dec. 2 at the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.

Contributions may be made to the church or to a charity of one’s choice.
