Dale Joseph Raines, 60, formerly of Alburtis, died at his home in Albrightsville. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Carlton R. and Kathleen (Dunbar) Raines.

He graduated from Emmaus High School.

He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served as machine gunner in Beirut as a member of the Multinational Force in Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War.

He worked for many years as a security guard for a variety of businesses and hospitals in the Lehigh Valley.

He is survived by his parents; brothers Jeffrey J., Jason J., Carlton J.; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. (Bobby).

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Brubaker Funeral Home, Catasauqua.
