The Girls on the Run 5-K is planned for 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at DeSales University.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education will next meet 7 p.m. Dec. 5 in the administration meeting room at the district office, 201 N. 14th St.

The Catasauqua Middle School chorus and instrumental concert will take place Dec. 7 in the CMS auditorium.

CASD is looking to fill a vacant food service position in the district.

The job is approximately 8 a.m.-1:45 p.m. from late August to early June. The salary is $14.52 an hour.

The position entails preparing and serving meals, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area and working the cash register. Applicants must be able to carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
