Robert W. “Bobby” Oswald, 77, of New Tripoli, died Nov. 16, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Wayne J. and Alice B. (Hermany) Oswald.

A 1964 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, he went on to work for the former Bamberger’s Service Station, New Tripoli.

He later worked in the maintenance department of the former Contel Telephone Company, New Tripoli Station, until retirement.

He was a former attendee of Jacob’s Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township.

In the early 1960s, he was a member of Earl Keller’s “Little Jiggers” Square Dance Team.

His survivors include his cousins Sarah A. Bailey of New Tripoli, and Richard A. “Ricky” Bailey Jr. of Kempton; and close friends Wayne D. “Jack” (Janet) Snyder of New Tripoli.

There will be a private graveside funeral service at Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.
