Jeanette L. Bottazzi

Jeanette L. Bottazzi, 96, died peacefully Nov. 15, 2023, surrounded by family at home.

She wand her husband, the late Aldo M. Bottazzi, were married 58 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Belford) Stocker.

A member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, she played for the Kenosha Comets in 1946.

Her name is listed in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., in honor to all who participated in the AAGPBL.

An avid sports fan, she enjoyed watching the Phillies, Eagles, Penn State and women’s college basketball.

She also loved going to the casino and watching her great-grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

She will be lovingly missed by her son, Michael J. and his wife, Ellen, of Catasauqua; grandchildren, Bill, and his wife, Amy (Falk), and Amy, wife of Eric Roth; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Abigail, Zackery, Maeve and Ryan; sister-in-law Ruth; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Walter, Ralph and Robert and her sister, Florence.

Services will be private per her request.
