State Police - Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported on the following:

• Over $16,000 worth of jewelry and money was stolen in a theft that was reported to police at 10:18 a.m. Oct. 11.

It happened at a property on Washington Street in the Borough of Bath, where the victim is a 68-year-old woman from the town.

Taken were a gold Bengal bracelet with Windy D engraved in it, worth $2,000, a white gold ring with a two-carat diamond in it, valued at $12,000, and $2,674 in currency.

• A 63-year-old woman from Germansville was cited for harassment after they were called to the parking lot of the Northwestern Recreation Park located across from Northwestern Lehigh High School, 6499 Northwest Road, Heidelberg Township.

It happened at 3:16 p.m. Nov. 6. Police said the woman was harassing a 17-year-old boy from New Tripoli.

• Louis R. Frulio, 62, of East Stroudsburg, was cited for “stop signs and yield signs” after a two-vehicle crash at 9:52 a.m. Nov. 6 at the intersection of Route 873 and Bellview Drive in North Whitehall Township.

Police said he was driving a 2021 Ford Transit westbound on Bellview Drive and made a careless/unsafe left-hand turn while disobeying a traffic control signal, at which time the Transit was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Express operated by Kristin M. Bramich, 54, of Lehighton, who was northbound on Rt. 873 at the time.

Police said the two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

• Police said an arrest warrant was issued for Richard Kutzler, 48, of Walnutport, after it was reported he violated a Protection From Abuse court order.

They were called at 2:55 p.m. Sept. 29 to a property on Northgate Drive, Washington Town ship, where Kutzler’s ex-wife, a 49-year-old Slatington woman, reported he was parked in the driveway of the residence and was tampering with the rear back door. Police said the victim called them again on Oct. 2 to report Kutzler had returned to the residence on Sept. 30 while she was not home and damaged her front window, and then on Oct. 1 threatened her.

• A 36-year-old Slatington woman is the victim of a theft that was reported to police at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 3.

It happened at a property on County Bridge Road, Washington Township, when unknown actors stole a large galvanized bin containing dirt and flowers from the end of the woman’s driveway and fled.

The estimated loss is $300, police said.
