The Northampton Borough Christmas tree lighting will take place 7 p.m. Nov. 26 at Main Street and Laubach Avenue.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is holding a nut roll sale. The flavors include apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry and pumpkin.

Orders can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 9 at the church.

Northampton Fire Department will hold its annual Santa Run starting noon Dec. 9.

Parents who would like their child to receive a gift from Santa should bring the gift to the station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive. Drop off is 6-9 p.m. Dec. 6-8.

The gift should be wrapped and no bigger than a shoe box. The child’s name and address, as well as the parent’s phone number, should be clearly marked on the gift, and the address must be within borough limits.

Santa will arrive on a firetruck the day of the event.
