Moore Township: Christ UCC plans vendor, craft show

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, is holding a holiday vendor and craft show 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 2 in the social hall. Local vendors including ColorStreet, Tastefully Simple, local honey, handmade jewelry, Rada cutlery, homemade cookies and candies and other handmade crafts.

The kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch.

Reminder: Moore Township Historical Commission’s next meeting will be 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at the township municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. Learn about the history of Moore Township.

Consider joining and supporting the historical commission.

The township board of supervisors next meets 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

The recreation committee next meets 7 p.m. Dec. 21 at the recreation center, 635 English Road. The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families.

Consider supporting its important work.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. every Tuesday at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive. The night includes prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, washline bingo and lots of fun.

The Community Days committee is seeking additional members. The committee is planning next year’s event.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, continues celebrating its historic 300th anniversary this year. Emmanuel’s was founded in 1723.

Pastor Rachel Ziese Hacker welcomes everyone to Emmanuel’s. If you cannot attend a Sunday or other service, you can call 610-477-0100 to listen to any of the church’s services. Call in during the service time to listen to a current service.
