District News: WCSD closed for holiday; have a great Thanksgiving break
There will be no school Nov. 22 for Whitehall-Coplay School District students as teachers will have a professional development day. From Nov. 24 to Nov. 27, WCSD will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Classes will resume Nov. 28.
Have a wonderful time with family and friends.

Note on the Whitehall-Coplay PTO PLUS fundraiser: Cherrydale orders will arrive the week of Nov. 27.
The exact date for building pickups will be announced soon. Keep an eye on social media for further updates.

The Lil Shopper’s Shop is coming! This program is sponsored by the Whitehall-Coplay PTO PLUS. Students will bring home an envelope with more details for students to participate in the season of giving.
Zephyr Elementary School students will have their time to shop Dec. 4-8.
Gockley Elementary School will hold its time for students Dec. 6 and 7.
Students at Steckel Elementary School can shop Dec. 12-15.

Whitehall-Coplay Middle School’s winter band and chorus concert will be performed 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the auditorium at Whitehall High School.

WHS’ winter concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 12 in the auditorium at the school.

The 2024 edition of the WHS yearbook, The Whitehall, will continue the tradition of publishing baby pictures and senior ads of graduating seniors.

According to WCSD’s policy, students may only be excused by a parent 16 days per school year (eight per semester). Medical excuses are required for any absences that exceed 16 days in a school year.
Additionally, any absence not excused within three days will be considered unexcused. Multiple unexcused absences are considered to be unlawful and may result in legal consequences.
