LCTI to hold information session for EHS juniors

Any students interested in the Savannah College of Art & Design [SCAD] may attend its college visit 1 p.m. Nov. 29 in the counseling offices. Students may sign up for the visit through Naviance.
No Place For Hate will host its next meeting after school Nov. 30 in Room 309, inviting new and returning members.
The Emmaus High School Band will hold its annual winter concert 7-10 p.m. Dec. 1 in the EHS auditorium. All district families are invited.
Offering career internships in the second semester, the EHS field study program is accepting applications now through Dec. 1. Eligible applicants include juniors or seniors with a first block study hall, fourth block study hall, early dismissal or late arrival. Lehigh Career & Technical Institute offers two rigorous, dual-enrollment programs to EHS seniors: animal sciences and emerging health professionals. Due to the programs’ selective nature, LCTI will visit EHS 1:30-2:25 p.m. Dec. 4 in the multimedia room offering details on admission, prerequisites and more. In the holiday spirit, Habitat for Humanity will host its second annual Gingerbread House Competition during Hornet Homeroom Dec. 15 in Cafeteria 2. The competition allows teams of up to six students to assemble a provided gingerbread kit. Students may bring additional decorations from home, with prizes awarded to three winning teams.

For its annual Santa Letter fundraiser, Interact Club is seeking volunteers to write, edit, address and stuff letters. Various shifts are available now through Dec. 13. Interested students may sign up for roles on the Interact Club’s Schoology page.
