The Emmaus High School Band will hold its annual winter concert 7-10 p.m. Dec. 1 in the EHS auditorium. All district families are invited.

Eligible applicants include juniors or seniors with a first block study hall, fourth block study hall, early dismissal or late arrival. Lehigh Career & Technical Institute offers two rigorous, dual-enrollment programs to EHS seniors: animal sciences and emerging health professionals. Due to the programs’ selective nature, LCTI will visit EHS 1:30-2:25 p.m. Dec. 4 in the multimedia room offering details on admission, prerequisites and more. In the holiday spirit, Habitat for Humanity will host its second annual Gingerbread House Competition during Hornet Homeroom Dec. 15 in Cafeteria 2. The competition allows teams of up to six students to assemble a provided gingerbread kit. Students may bring additional decorations from home, with prizes awarded to three winning teams.
