Jeanette L. Bottazzi, 96, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 15, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late Aldo M. Bottazzi for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Belford) Stocker.

She played for the Kenosha Comets in 1946 as a member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball. She is listed in the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, N.Y.

She is survived by a son, Michael J. and wife Ellen of Catasauqua; two grandchildren, Bill and wife Amy and Amy and husband Eric Roth; five great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Abigail, Zackery, Maeve and Ryan; a sister-in-law, Ruth; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Ralph and Robert; and a sister, Florence.
