Earl W. Spengler, 89, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 14, 2023. He was the husband of Joanne R. (Seifert) Spengler for 68 years.

He was a son of the late Earl H. and Elsie (Wagner) Spengler.

He was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Iceland.

He was a printer for The Morning Call newspaper for 37 years.

He was a member of the former St. Paul’s Church and, most recently, of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew and wife Sima and Thomas; and three grandchildren, Elena, Jacqueline and Jonathan.
