Diane Marie Jandrasits, 78, of Coplay, died Nov. 12, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice. She was the wife of the late John E. Jandrasits for 15 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. and Rose (Kail) Tapler.

She was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education in 1967 from St. Francis University, Fort Wayne, Ind., and a master’s degree from Kutztown University.

She was an elementary and middle school teacher in Whitehall-Coplay School District until she retired in 2002.

She was a member of and a volunteer with St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

She was on the board of associates at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She received the Melvin Jones Award from Coplay Lions Club. She belonged to the St. Mary’s senior group.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica M. Pietroniro and her husband Anthony; two granddaughters, Samantha and Madison Pietroniro; and a cousin, Robert Duld.

She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Tapler.
