BSI Corporate Benefits celebrated moving into its new Bethlehem location in the former Victory Firehouse on Webster Street with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and reception Oct. 19. Management, employees, Lehigh County Executive Philips Armstrong, Mayor J. William Reynolds, suppliers and contractors joined in the welcoming the firm to the Southside Bethlehem location which underwent a substantial renovation. BSI moved from its prior location at Main and West Market Streets with an eye to the company’s continuing growth. “Being able to stay in Bethlehem was important to us,” said CEO Anthony DaRe.
Nearly a dozen local organizations were represented for their roles in the renovations of the Victory Firehouse, which was built in 1926 to provide fire service to the Southside.
“It does take a village,” said DaRe, who thanked his family, partners and employees for their support. “Being good people is good for business,” Reynolds said.
BSI Corporate Benefits, founded in 2003, has national and international clients who avail themselves of the company’s benefits consulting services. It supports 30 nonprofit organizations among its clientele ,and client groups who are customers range in size from 25 to 20,000 employees.
