Karen Ann Voorhees, 50, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 6, 2023. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Frank and Sherry Klepeiss. She was the wife of Mark W. Voorhees for 28 years.

She was a 1991 Dieruff HS graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Science in Education degree from Wilkes University. She was a member of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.

She was a teacher for 29 years, first at Holy Spirit School and later at Broughal MS and Fountain Hill ES.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter, Hannah and husband Dekota; a son, Nicholas; and a brother, Frederick.
