Samuel N. Landis Jr.

Samuel N. Landis Jr., 67, of Emmaus, died peacefully Nov. 10, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of Alisa V. (Venanzi) Landis. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Samuel N. Landis Sr. and Emily R. (Benedick) Landis.

He was a 1975 graduate of Emmaus High School.

He worked for A.P. Houser for 55 years.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus. He was a life member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus, Emmaus Fire Company #1, Citizens Fire Company #2 and Catholic War Veterans. He was also a member of Emmaus Lodge #792 F & AM and an Allentown Fair director.

He was a member of the Emmaus Lions Club and received the Melvin Jones Fellowship award.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Marlea and her husband, David McAdoo, Dana and her husband, Jeffrey Hashagen, Kelsey and her husband, Richard Doney; grandchildren, Maxon, Avery, Tucker, Haley; sisters, Juanita and her husband, Bill Wall, Debra and her husband, Michael Skrip; stepdaughters, Ilona Francesca, Natalia Joeli; mother of his children, Robin; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Trever; wife, Merrill A.; brother, Eugene; sister, Carolyn Hunsicker.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Emmaus Lions Club, P.O. Box 66, Emmaus, 18049.

Funeral and Lions Club services will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewings will be held 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 17 in the funeral home.
